PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a part supply device supplying rod-like parts to a predetermined work position. SOLUTION: An edge trimming projection 11 having an edge trimming face 11a is attached to an inclined bottom section 3a of a storage hopper 3 and the edge trimming projection 11 is formed with the edge trimming face 11a gently crossing the inclined bottom section 3a. A number of slotted set screws 2 in a posture intersecting a scoop plate 4 fall along the inclined bottom section 3a between side sections 3b, 3b extending from the inclined base section 3a while aligning and contacting with adjacent screws and the slotted set screws 2 are halved by the edge trimming section 11. Although the slotted set screws 2 in the half of the halved slotted set screws begins contacting with each other between the side section 3b of the storage hopper 3 and the edge trimming face 11a of the edge trimming projection 11, the slotted set screws 2 lying near the edge trimming face 11a slide up on the edge trimming face 11a when receiving lateral force and therefore the slotted set screws 2 do not get in a bridged condition and can be surely scooped up by the scoop plate 4.
