PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lift generator capable of enhancing the fuel economy by reducing the load applied to a vehicle tire. SOLUTION: The lift generator includes a rotating mechanism 16 installed in the upper part of a trunk lid 14 of a vehicle 12 and having a rotor 20 borne rotatably by a pair of supports 22a and 22b, wherein the rotating mechanism 16 is equipped with a projection 28 accommodated inside the rotor 20 during stop of rotation and protruding to outside the rotor 20 with the action of the centrifugal force when the rotor 20 is rotated by a drive part 24.
