PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding of an inner liner which prevents the residue of air in the connecting unit of the inner liners particularly on the periphery of a band drum for molding a carcass band, and which can effectively suppress the exfoliation not intended of the connecting part of the inner liner upon molding of the inner liner by sticking an inner liner film and an unvulcanized inner liner rubber in mutual superimposing posture on a band drum for molding a carcass band. SOLUTION: The method for molding of the inner liner includes the step of sticking the thin film shape inner liner film 2 of a predetermined length on a band drum 5 and the unvulcanized inner liner rubber 1 of the predetermined length in the state that both the ends of the inner liner film 2 and the inner liner rubber 1 in the extending direction are shifted from one another, then the step of sticking this transferred matter 4 with the inner liner film 2 disposed at the inner surface side to stock the entire periphery of the inner liner film 2 on the band drum 5, and then the step of offsetting the ends of the inner liner film 2 and the unvulcanized inner liner rubber 1 from one another in the circumferential direction of the band drum 5 and connecting them.
