<p>A grommet which prevents water leakage occurring when an engagement recess for engagement with a vehicle body deforms due to bending and a diametrical variation of a wire harness passed through the grommet. The grommet has a pair of semicircular closed surface sections protruding from the inner peripheral surface of the large-diameter-side front end of an expanded-diameter tube section in which the engagement recess is formed, and also has a pair of semicircular tube sections respectively protruding from the peripheral edges of circular cutouts at the centers of opposite ends of the pair of closed surface sections. An adhesive tape is wrapped around the outer peripheral surfaces of the pair of semicircular tube sections. The pair of closed surface sections has a smaller wall thickness than the expanded-diameter tube section, and the pair of closed surface sections each have a bellows shape in which the crests and the roots of the bellows radially alternate and extend in the circumferential direction so as to surround the root of the semicircular tube section. When the pair of semicircular tube sections protruding from the center of the pair of closed surface sections is deformed according to the direction of bending of the wire harness and to a variation in the outer diameter of the wire harness wrapped and secured by an adhesive tape, the deformation of the closed surface sections is absorbed by stretch and contraction of the bellows. This prevents deformation of the engagement section of the expanded-diameter tube section connecting to the outer peripheral side of the closed surface section.</p>
