DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DEMODULATING CONTROL SIGNALS

A device and a method for demodulating control signals are provided to efficiently demodulate each control signal from wireless terminals multiplexed by circular location movement of a fixed code. A control signal demodulating device demodulates a control signal received from each wireless terminal based on correlation among received signals including a code and a control signal and a reference signal received from wireless terminals in a frequency domain. An inverse multiplexer(204) inversely multiplexes a control signal component and a reference signal component from a correlation profile in the frequency domain. A route detection(205) detects a route location of each wireless terminal from power of the reference signal component. An extractor extracts a control signal correlation value from the control signal component corresponding to a reference signal correlation value and a route location from the reference signal component corresponding to the route location. A synthesizer(208) synthesizes the reference signal correlation value and the control signal correlation value to generate respective control signals of the wireless terminals.
