A muffler for a compressor is provided to suppress that the inner temperature of a compressor sealed container is delivered to the noise space of an intake muffler by forming an air layer between inner and outer cases as high as the height of sealing projections. A muffler for a compressor comprises inner and cases(100,200). The inner case comprises cases which are sealed in order to form one or more chambers. The outer case is sealed up outside the inner case at constant intervals. One or more sealing projections(121) are formed at the outer circumference of an inner case and the inner circumference of the outer case. Sealing projections adhere closely to the case which is faced.
