<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermochromic writing utensil which allows the rapid switching of the function to a heat discoloration operation after writing, and besides, ensures its stable gripping during writing and friction. <P>SOLUTION: This thermochromic writing utensil accommodates a thermochromic ink inside a writing utensil body 2, and has a pen point 21 discharging the thermochromic ink, at the forward end of the writing utensil body 2. The writing utensil has a friction part, which enables heat discoloring of a handwriting in the thermochromic ink by frictional heat generated through a frictional action to the handwriting, on the outer face of the writing utensil body 2. A resilient member 3 is arranged on the outer face of the forward part of the writing utensil body 2. The resilient member 3 serves as a grip part which can be held by finger etc. during writing, and also, as a grip part and a friction part, when the handwriting in the thermochromic ink, is rubbed. The outer face of the resilient member 3 constitutes the maximum outside diameter part 32 of the forward part of the writing utensil body 2. A through-hole 31 runs through the resilient member 3 and the writing utensil body 2 is inserted into a mounting hole 31 in a freely removable manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
