PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device, which can suppress deterioration of display quality and strength of a liquid crystal panel while minimizing labor hour.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a liquid crystal panel (liquid crystal display device) 100a comprises: a vacuum bonding step S17 of bonding a counter substrate 1 having parts corresponding to a plurality of liquid crystal panels 100a and a THF substrate 2 together to form a bonded substrate 100; a polarizing plate sticking step S21 of sticking polarizing plates 7 and 8 to the bonded substrate 100; and a polarizing plate dividing step S22 of dividing the polarizing plates 7 and 8 into the parts corresponding to the plurality of liquid crystal panels 100a.
