<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay device that reduces a communication load on a communication line by reducing a data volume to transmit, reduces an operation load of each communication device, and reduces its own operation load, when transmitting data read from a database to an external device and relaying transmission or reception of data between external devices. <P>SOLUTION: Data C2 required by onboard devices 1d and 1f has to be generated from data C1. A relay device 3 generates data C2 which is the results of operation, stores it in a database DB, and transmits it to the onboard devices 1d and 1f properly, instead of transmitting data C1 which is used as source data of operation for creating data C1 to the onboard devices 1d and 1f, respectively. Further, the relay device 3 determines whether to regenerate data C2 to be generated, and only when it is determined that the stored data C2 is old and regeneration is necessary, data C2 is regenerated using data C1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
