PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe which allows analysis with directionality kept over a wide band region; and an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus. SOLUTION: The pedestal 20 includes a plurality of convex parts 20a or concave parts each of which corresponds to one channel of vibrational elements. Each vibrational element 22 includes a plurality of MUT elements 30 each of which receives and transmits an ultrasonic wave. A plurality of the MUT elements 30 are arranged in each of the convex parts 20a or concave parts, so that each vibrational element 22 can receive and transmit an ultrasonic wave which includes a radial face curving along the surface of the convex parts 20a or concave parts.
