PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield structure with an opening that has ventilation and desired shielding characteristics. SOLUTION: Slots 3 with a long side of length x are provided by n in an opening 2 with a predetermined area formed on a shield plate 1 for improvement of ventilation, so as to establish a desired shield effect SE. The structure of the opening 2 is determined based on an equation of SE-SE'≤-20log[(n/N)(x/X)<SP>5/2</SP>], with reference to a shield effect SE' which can be obtained when the slots 3 with a long side of length X are provided by N in the opening 2.
