PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake resistant structure and an earthquake and wind pressure resistant structure of a rib glass screen capable of withstanding an impact and an interlayer displacement thereof due to an earthquake or the like even when a long rib glass for use as a large-sized rib glass screen is installed. SOLUTION: In the rib glass screen, the rib glass 3 is vertically installed on the abutting part 2 of a face plate glass 1. The joint portion of the abutted glasses is filled with a structural sealing agent to support the plate glass by the rib glass 3. The rib glass 3 is suspended from an upper skeleton 4 with a suspending metal fitting 6 interposed therebetween. In the earthquake resistant structure of a rib glass screen, a hinge 5 is formed on the suspending metal fitting 6. The suspending metal fitting 6 is fixed to the upper skeleton 4. The rib glass 3 is joined to the lower part of the suspending metal fitting 6. The rib glass 3 is suspended from the upper skeleton 4. The rib glass 3 is swingable about the hinge 5.
