PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cross talk of adjacent nozzles in a liquid droplet jetting apparatus which carries out dot formation so that a dot position shifts in a scanning direction between a dot array arranged while spaced by a predetermined dot interval with regards to the scanning direction and an adjacent another dot array. SOLUTION: When liquid droplets are jetted from a first nozzle 30a included in a plurality of nozzles which constitute a nozzle array 32A communicated with one manifold 27, jetting of liquid droplets from the first nozzle 30a is stopped at a next jetting timing when a liquid droplet jetting head 3 moves in the scanning direction by a predetermined scan distance shorter than the predetermined dot interval after jetting the liquid droplets. Moreover, liquid droplets are jetted from a second nozzle 30c adjacent to the first nozzle 30a with regards to an arrangement direction at a timing when the first nozzle 30a stops.
