SOLUTION: In a safety unit 10 for actuating a motor power supply cutoff circuit, when having an input signal, a first input circuit 11 inputs an output signal indicating normality to a CPU 12 and a logic circuit 13, the CPU 12, upon receiving the input signal, input the output signal to the logic circuit 13 and a motor power supply cutoff circuit 19, the logic circuit 13, upon receiving the two inputs, inputs a single output to a first output circuit 14, when having an input signal, a second input circuit 16 inputs an output signal indicating normality to the CPU 12 and a second output circuit 17, and when an input to the first input circuit 11 or the second input circuit 16 is cut off, no output is transmitted, so that the CPU 12 cuts off the motor power supply cutoff circuit 19.
