PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably perform drying work for a small amount of grains in a circulation type grain drying machine. SOLUTION: This grain drying machine includes a drying operation stop means 41 wherein, when a charged grain amount detecting means SE6 detects such a small charged grain amount that the grain fills only a part of a grain flow passage 9 or when a small charged grain amount is set by a charged grain amount setting switch SW7, the grain is dried by a small grain amount drying means 41 which alternately repeats hot air drying for keeping a combustion amount of a burner 5 to a small combustion amount to perform a combustion and drying pause, and when a sample grain for measuring a moisture value is not taken from circulated grains to a moisture meter 26 during the drying operation of the small grain amount drying means 41, it is determined that there is no charged grain and the drying operation of the small grain amount drying means is stopped.
