<p>An improvement in surround effect in the low sound range is enabled when surround sound is implemented by using speakers disposed in front of a listener. A left surround signal extraction unit (11) outputs a left surround signal (Ls) as it is through to a speaker (LSP). The left surround signal (Ls) from the left surround signal extraction unit (11) is attenuated by an attenuation unit (12), and delayed for each frequency band and outputted to a center speaker (CSP) by a delay unit (13). A phase inversion unit (14) inverts the phase of the left surround signal (Ls) from the left surround signal extraction unit (11) and outputs the phase-inverted signal to a speaker (RSP).</p> |
