<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly immobilize a ball-point pen tip or a connection member to an ink storage pipe without deteriorating a retaining force in the direction where a pen point comes off. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of a ball-point pen comprises inserting and immobilizing a ball-point pen tip into the ink storage pipe of a softer material than the ball-point pen tip or an inner hole of the connection member to the ink storage pipe. First, the connection end of the ball-point pen tip, to be inserted into the ink storage pipe or the connection member, is inserted into the ink storage pipe or the connection member. Then, a fixture is introduced from the rear end opening of the ink storage pipe or the connection member and inserted into the connection end opening of the ball-point pen tip. Thus the outer shape of the connection end is distorted by pressing it to the outside and thereby, is made to bite into the inner wall of the ink storage pipe or the connection member. The fixture has a pressing face which is made of a harder material than the ball-point pen tip and has an apex part of a smaller diameter and a rear part of a larger diameter than the diameter of the connection end opening of the ball-point pen tip. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
