摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of a shock in down shift gear change and increase of friction material thermal load of automatic transmission in a control device of a vehicle which outputs power from a second electric motor to a driving wheel (shaft) through a stepped automatic transmission. <P>SOLUTION: Torque down of the second electric motor can be carried out during down shift gear change by carrying out control to restrict engine power so that power transfer between a first electric motor and the second electric motor can always be balanced, and carrying out control to suppress rising speed of revolution of an engine by controlling at the side of the engine, such as control of delay angle of ignition timing and reduction control of fuel injection amount. Down shift gear change is also carried out after revolution of the engine has fallen to the revolution at which protection control does not operate by lowering the revolution of the engine before start of down shift gear change. Blast of the second electric motor under torque down gear change can be suppressed by such control, and suppression of the shock in the gear change and protection of friction materials of a friction engaging element become possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
