<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a user of waiting times until the arrival of taxi vehicles according to companies. <P>SOLUTION: This taxi information providing device includes a probe database 21 storing taxi vehicle information including position information of a plurality of taxi vehicles, free taxi and occupied taxi category information and belonging taxi company information; a taxi retrieval part 13 acquiring the present position information of a mobile communication device 5, computing a distance between the mobile communication device 5 and each taxi vehicle from the position information of each taxi vehicle and the present position information of the mobile communication device 5, and extracting one or more free taxi vehicles based on the distance; and a route retrieval engine 15 predicting a required time required for each of the one or more extracted free taxi vehicles to move into the present position of the mobile communication device 5.
