PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner, suppressing generation of collision noise at a contact portion of: a cover closing an opening to which a refrigerant communication pipe and the like is introduced; and the periphery of the opening. SOLUTION: In this outdoor unit 2, a casing 20 is provided with the opening 251 for introducing an electric wire and/or the refrigerant communication pipe. A clearance between an edge of the opening 251 and the electric wire and/or the refrigerant communication pipe is closed by a rear lower cover 40. That is, the rear lower cover 40 closes the opening 251 in a state that the electric wire and/or the refrigerant communication pipe penetrate through the opening.
