PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reducing the effect on focusing accuracy of movement of an imaging device by a camera shake correction unit. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 1A includes: an imaging device 101 which acquires a photographic image related to a subject image; a movement control means which moves the imaging device 101 within a plane vertical to an optical axis of a photographic optical system; a movement history generation part 622 which generates movement history information for movement of the imaging device 101; a focus adjustment information acquisition part 623 which acquires focus adjustment information according to a focus adjustment state; a focus adjustment information correction part 624 which corrects focus adjustment information according to the movement history information; and a focus adjustment means which performs focus adjustment based on corrected focus adjustment information corrected by the correction part 624.
