PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the problem of the defective shape of a foamed resin molding caused by the contraction of the edge of an expandable resin packed in a cavity into the molding during core backing which occurs when the foamed resin molding is formed by core-backing a mold or the problem of a deterioration in dimensional accuracy in the shape of a plane. SOLUTION: In a method for forming the foamed resin molding, when, after a molten expandable resin is packed in a cavity 33 formed by a fixed mold 31 and a movable mold 32, the movable mold 32 is core-backed in a direction to increase the volume of the cavity, to form a foamed resin molding 50 a first expandable resin 40A weak in expansion power is packed in the non-edge part of the cavity 33 from a first injection machine 20A and a first injection path 26a, and a second expandable resin 40B strong in expansion power is packed in the edge of the cavity 33 from a second injection machine 20B and a second injection path 26b.
