<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance safety by preventing ejection of flame from a battery pack even when a situation where flame is ejected from a battery occurs while suppressing increase of the size and weight of the battery pack. <P>SOLUTION: This battery pack includes at least a battery 19 and a casing 20 for accommodating the battery 19, in which the casing 20 has a ventilation hole 21 communicating with the outside of the casing, and a mesh member 22 made of metal for covering at least the ventilation hole 21 is provided on a side surface of the casing 20.
