PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic case can directly position and supporting an inner tray by buffer materials, can retain a superior buffering effect even if an external force is laterally applied to the inner tray, and can easily respond to both of a metal tray and a resin tray. SOLUTION: This cosmetic case includes the inner tray 4 filled with a solid cosmetic 5, a case body 1 formed with an inner tray storage recess 1a for storing the inner tray 4, and a lid body 2 for covering the case body 1. The base 1c of the inner tray storage recess 1a is disposed with the buffer materials 12 projecting upward, the lower face of the inner tray 4 is formed with engagement recessed grooves 13 in such an arrangement as facing the projecting ends of the buffer materials 12, wherein the buffer materials 12 elastically support the inner tray 4 with the projection ends fitted in the engagement recessed grooves 13 formed on the lower face of the inner tray 4.
