PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DB module, which can monitor the braking performance of a dynamic brake (DB) favorably; and to provide a servo press, which is equipped with it. SOLUTION: The DB module 20 includes: resistors 31-33, which convert electric energy into thermal energy; the first to third relay contacts 21-23 on the input side of the electric energy; the fourth to sixth relay contacts 24-26 on the side of the resistors 31-33; the first to third relay switches 41-43, which open and close the lines between the first to third relay contacts 21-23 and the fourth to sixth relay contacts 24-26; the seventh to ninth relay contacts 27-29 for measurement of the resistance values of the resistors 31-33; the fourth to sixth relay switches 44-46, which interlock with the first to fourth relay switches 41-43 and close the lines between the fourth to sixth relay contacts 24-26 and the seventh to ninth relay contacts 27-29 when the first to fourth relay switches 41-43 are open; and output terminals 34 and 35, which are connected electrically to the seventh to ninth relay contacts 27-29.
