PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to reduce effectively requirements for a storage device and numerical value calculation. SOLUTION: The method includes steps of; calculating a look-up table function Qä_} based on a reverse filter signal x<SB>F</SB>(n) and a feedback output signal y<SB>G</SB>(n); generating an intermediate predistortion-added signal z(n), based on the feedback output signal y<SB>G</SB>(n) and the look-up table function Qä_}; forming a filter function Fä_}, based on the intermediate predistortion-added signal z(n) and an original input signal x(n); and generating the reverse filter signal x<SB>F</SB>(n) by reverse-filtering the original input signal x(n) by using a parameter of the filter function Fä_}. The above steps are repeated until predetermined conditions are fulfilled. The look-up table function Qä_} and the filter function Fä_} represent reverse characteristics of a nonlinear system.
