PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scent generator capable of generating various scents intended, by the providing side of contents to a user, according to a use condition to improve convenience. SOLUTION: The scent generator includes a display part 4 which displays the contents, such as, document, image, video image, database, and scent generating part 6 capable of generating a plurality of scents and generates scents corresponding to a display image of the display part 4 from the scent generation part 6, based on the scent information contained in the contents.
