PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily figure out a condition which reduces an amount of power supply noise within an acceptable range in designing a semiconductor device. SOLUTION: A method of designing a semiconductor device includes: (A) calculating a design value of a noise parameter that contributes to power supply noise of the semiconductor device, based on the design specification of the semiconductor device; (B) setting the noise parameter variably within a predetermined range including the calculated design value, and calculating an amount of power supply noise of the semiconductor device by using the set noise parameter; and (C) generating a noise database indicating the relationship between the noise parameter within a predetermined range and the calculated amount of power supply noise.
