PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face image processor for creating a three-dimensional image of a candidate from the two-dimensional face image of the candidate without using any special surface measurement device. SOLUTION: The face image processor includes: an image input means 210 for inputting a two-dimensional face image; a storage means 250 for storing a three-dimensional shape model and the feature point positions of the face in the three-dimensional shape model in advance; a derived model creation means 231 for creating a derived shape model by making the rate of length to a feature point at the upper part of a reference point, the reference point being set on the positive middle line of the face surface of the three-dimensional shape model, to length to a feature point at the lower part of the reference point different from that of the three-dimensional shape model; a selection means (232, 233) for comparing the derived shape model and the three-dimensional shape model with the two-dimensional face image, and for selecting the shape model which is most similar to the two-dimensional face image; and a personal model creation means 240 for compounding the selected shape model with the two-dimensional face image to create a three-dimensional face image corresponding to the face of the person.
