A magnetic suspension windmill which has a vertical shaft is disclosed, including a windmill body and a generator. The windmill body is mounted on a load bearing flange. The generator includes a casing (1), the vertical shaft (2), a bearing (3), a permanent magnetism rotor, a disk-shaped stator core (7) and a winding. The casing (1) is formed by an upper and a lower supporting plate (11, 12), and a circumferential plate (13) which is located between the upper and lower supporting plates. The upper end of the disk-shaped stator core (7) is fixed on the upper supporting plate (11). The magnetic steel (5) of the permanent magnetism rotor is opposite to the lower end of the disk-shaped stator core (7) and a clearance is provided between them. With the above structure, by using the attraction between the disk-shaped stator core (7) and the magnetic steel (5) of the permanent magnetism rotor, the axial force of the bearing can be overcome, the abrasion of the bearing can be reduced and the service life of the bearing can be prolonged, in the meantime, the friction force of the bearing can be reduced and the mechanical efficiency can be improved. |
