A new case of the same kind as the case of information desired to be extracted can be generated precisely. A new case generation device is characterized by comprising a new case generation means which receives as inputs the case of the information desired to be extracted and a case context being peripheral text data including the case and generates, according to the inputted case and the inputted case context, a new case of the same kind as the inputted case and a new case context being peripheral text data including the new case and different from the inputted case context, using document data; a similarity calculation means which calculates the similarity between the case context and the new case context; and a new case narrow-down means which narrows down, according to the similarity calculated by the similarity calculation means, the new case generated by the new case generation means and outputs the new case selected.
