The axle (1) has two longitudinal control arms (2, 3) connected with each other by a rigid and torsion-flexible middle piece. An active element (5) and/or controller are inserted in a middle region of the middle piece. The controller is connected with two parts (6, 7) of the axle. The parts are actively rotatable against each other around the active element and/or the controller, so as to produce arbitrary anti-rolling torque. The active element and/or the controller are designed as an electric motor with a downstreamly arranged transmission or as hydraulic oscillating motor.
