METHOD OF EDGE DETECTION AND REINFORCEMENT

A method for extracting and reinforcing an edge is provided to improve the phenomenon that a nozzle is enlarged. A method for extracting and reinforcing an edge comprises the following steps of: using the luminance value of a pixel to control it(401); performing the Laplacian calculation for the first image in horizontal/vertical/slant directions(402); outputting the first edge value; outputting the second edge value after performing the Laplacian for the first edge value(403). The Laplacian calculation includes a horizontal direction gain, a vertical direction gain and a slant direction gain.
