<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device and an information input method enabling desired information to be input from a host apparatus, even when the host apparatus does not include a user interface for entering complicated information. <P>SOLUTION: The storage device includes: a storage area for storing data; a file system section for managing the data stored in the storage area in units of files; and an interface manager section for writing data into or reading data from the storage area via the file system. The interface manager section writes data into the storage area so that an interface file group including a plurality of files is created according to a file layout set beforehand. After at least one file included in the interface file group is deleted by the host apparatus, the interface manager section reads the data from the storage area to identify the file having been deleted from the interface file group, and generates input data on the basis of the identification results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
