<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide metal hose fittings compactly winding a fire hose when winding the hose in a coil shape, being easily stored and transported, and preventing a male metal fitting 3 from damaging the hose 15 and coming off the coil. <P>SOLUTION: A metal joint 1 includes: a female metal fitting 2 with a projectable/retractable engagement piece 4, which is arranged on the inner surface; and the male metal fitting 3 having an engagement cylinder part 6 with an engagement step part 7 to be engaged with the engagement piece 4, which is arranged at the distal end, and also having a release ring 9 for releasing the engagement of the engagement piece 4 with respect to the engagement step part 6, which is arranged in the outer periphery of the engagement cylinder part 6. The release ring 9 includes: an insertion cylinder part 10 to be inserted to the female metal fitting 2; and a flange part 11 formed at the rear end of the insertion cylinder part 10. The flange part 11 is formed so as to be bulged outward at the two opposing places, where the outer periphery at a position to be orthogonally crossed with the bulging part 18 is formed with a straight line to be substantially circumscribed with the insertion cylinder part 10 or a curved line with the curvature radius being sufficiently larger than that of the insertion cylinder part 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
