<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating device can prevent an excessive temperature rise in a heated object and of accurately measuring a temperature of the interior of the heated object. <P>SOLUTION: The induction heating device includes: a top plate (2) for placing a heated object (1) thereon; a heating coil (5) for generating an induction magnetic field to heat the heated object (1); a first infrared sensor (3) and a second infrared sensor (4) for detecting the amount of infrared energy radiated from the heated object (1); and a heat control unit (6) for controlling high-frequency current of the heating coil (5) to control heating power of the heated object (1), based on the amount of infrared energy detected by both the first infrared sensor (3) and the second infrared sensor (4), to thereby control the amount of heating power.
