PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic skincare composition aiming at ameliorating moisturing status of skin, and its method. SOLUTION: An extract of at least a part of Vanda coerulea species of Orchidaceae is used as a reagent for maintaining or recovering moisturing status of skin in a cosmetic composition, the composition also contains a vehicle permissible in a cosmetic purpose, and the method is disclosed.
