PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing which accommodates a part of a cable, while preventing a coming-off without enlarging any outer dimension. SOLUTION: The housing can accommodate electric equipment therein, and there is provided a cable accommodating portion 2 which can accommodate a part of a cable 1. The cable accommodating portion 2 is constituted by: a concave portion 5; and a protrusion 8 which projectingly comes out towards a fourth side surface portion 5D of the concave portion 5 along a second side surface portion 5B, a third side surface portion 5C and a bottom face portion of the concave portion 5 in a part of a first side surface portion 5A of the concave portion 5. In a boundary portion H of an accommodating area 30 and a pass area 20, a distance X2 between the second side surface portion 5B and the third side surface portion 5C in the accommodating area 30 is longer than a distance X1 between the second side surface portion 5B and the third side surface portion 5C in the pass area 20.
