<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for responding to a request of combining processing, which is not achievable in a single device, by using the functions of a plurality of devices connected to a line. <P>SOLUTION: When an image forming apparatus 103 is provided with an N-Up function, and an image forming apparatus 104 is provided with the function of a stapler, image data subjected to N-Up processing by the image forming apparatus 103 are created, and transmitted to the image forming apparatus 104, and printed with staples.
