<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a chrono-function capable of clocking in 1/1,000 seconds with small power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: This clock circuit has an oscillation circuit 11; a divider circuit 12 for performing frequency division of a reference signal outputted from the oscillation circuit 11, and outputting various clock signals; a time counter 21 for counting the first clocks outputted from the divider circuit 12, clocking a time, and outputting various clock signals; a chrono-counter 22 which is an optional time measuring counter capable of measuring an optional time by counting the first clocks or clock signals outputted from the time counter. Since the clock circuit also has an auxiliary counter 24 for counting the second clocks having a higher frequency than the first clocks, outputted from the oscillation circuit 11 synchronously with the chrono-counter 22, counting in 1/1,000 seconds becomes possible by simple improvement of only addition of the auxiliary counter 24 to a conventional clock circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
