<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for decomposing and removing ozone can efficiently decompose and remove ozone in place of the conventional metal oxide catalyst such as MnO<SB>2</SB>, Co<SB>3</SB>O<SB>4</SB>, CuO and NiO, and a heat exchanger provided with a surface having catalytic ability on which a base metal or the like is deposited and plated. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst for decomposing and removing ozone includes: a substrate; and a layer coated on the surface of the substrate, containing: at least one of catalytic component selected from a group consisting of at least one of metal selected from a group consisting of Co, Rh, Ir, Ni, Pd, Pt, Cu, Ag, Au, Fe, Ru, Os and Sn; an alloy of the metals; and an alloy between the metal and other metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
