<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectacle lens can suppress the occurrence of redness in interference colors on the periphery of the lens when being attached to a spectacle frame large in camber angle. <P>SOLUTION: A first layer 131, a third layer 133 and a fifth layer 135 are each formed of SiO<SB>2</SB>; and a second layer 132 and a fourth layer 134 are each formed of ZrO<SB>2</SB>. In the reflection preventing layer 13, the third layer 133 and the fifth layer 135 are formed to be thicker than in a reflection preventing layer disclosed in conventional examples. A center wavelength λo is 500 nm, which is identical to that in the conventional examples.
