<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly perform binarization processing of an image on a recording medium surface formed with a visible image in consideration of circumstances peculiar to a thermally reversible recording medium, in a recording medium processor or the like forming the visible image on the surface of the recording medium to discharge from reception of the thermal recording medium formed with the visible image wherein gradation varies by a state by thermal action. <P>SOLUTION: This recording medium processor includes: an image forming part 20 applying heat to the recording medium surface 911, and forming the visible image on the surface 91; an image reading part 19 reading the image on the recording medium surface 911 formed with the visible image by the image forming part 20; and a binarization processing part 17 performing the binarization processing of the image read by the image reading part 19 to generate binary image data. The binarization processing part 17 performs the binarization processing by use of a threshold value according to a factor affecting the gradation of the visible image formed in the recording medium 9 when performing the binarization processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
