<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set data link information including an optical fiber connection state recognition even when a link including a transparent device such as a PXC device is extended. <P>SOLUTION: A WDM device #A(3) receives a signal instructing automatic recognition of an optical fiber connection state, transmits information including identification information about a port of an optical fiber 4 which should be automatically recognized and self-node ID information to the side of the PXC device #A(2) by an on/off pattern of an optical signal, and monitors the on/off pattern of the optical signal to be looped back to confirm conduction, and the PXC device #A(2) performs loop back setting of a port of a non-applied optical fiber 4. loops back the on/off pattern of the input optical signal, detects the on/off pattern of the optical signal to acquire the identification information about the port and the node ID information, establishes a control channel using the pieces of information, and sets data link information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
