<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell using an ion exchange membrane extracting current by directly causing ionization phenomenon from a state of water. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel cell with a system of causing current by ionizing water into electrons and atomic nuclei through a porous ion exchange membrane and effectively collecting the electrons, a larger potential than electromagnetic interaction of an element itself is artificially given by bringing water directly in contact with a cation membrane, and then a, phenomenon attracting hydrogen ions (H+) by the membrane is utilized. A power generation method using fresh water, seawater, other various kinds of solution, or the like as resources is provided. The system in which the cation membrane is sandwiched between electrodes, and protons separated from atoms are collected to a negative electrode placed outside the membrane so as to meet again with the electrons which have circulatingly returned after discharging to restore the element constituting the original compound to its original state, is provided. While in the night time without sunlight, an ultraviolet ray emitting apparatus is provided in a water tank with a power generation cell therein, and the returned electrons are restored to be in an excited state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
