PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively obtain a base-isolated structure of a building by preventing deflection of a bedsill member, cause by a partial reduction in base-isolating devices, by means of a simple structure. SOLUTION: This base-isolated structure employs the base-isolating devices 3 which are provided in several locations between the foundation 1 and bedsill member 2 of the building so as to absorb horizontal shaking. The base-isolated structure comprises a connecting member 11 with flexibility, which connects at least the opposed bedsill members 2 together in the top surface of the foundation 1, and a support member 13 which is protrusively provided on the top surface of the foundation 1 so as to sliding-support the connecting member 11 from below and which applies tension to the connecting member 11.
