PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a mirror to an optimum angle without depending upon a constitution, a posture of a driver, in a mirror automatic adjustment system for automatically adjusting a mirror angle which allows a car driver to visualize a rearward side. SOLUTION: The mirror automatic adjustment system 1 is provided with an image pickup device 4 and the center of a rear window 21 is defined as a rearward center point P to be the center of a rearward region for the diver H to visualize through an inside rear view mirror 3. The image pickup device 4 picks up a first region including the eyes Hu of the driver H and a second region including four corners Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 (a predetermined position for detecting the rearward center point P) of a rear window 21 behind the driver H and calculates mirror deviation amount corresponding to the deviation of an actual angle of the inside rear view mirror 3 from an angle of the inside rear view mirror 3 when the driver H can visualize the rearward center point P, based on the picked-up images.
