PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting head which is not only capable of reducing a manufacturing cost but also capable of easily attaining high densification. SOLUTION: The liquid ejecting head comprises: a flow path forming substrate 10 formed with a pressure generating chamber 12 communicating with a nozzle opening 21 which ejects ink; a pressure generating element 300 formed so as to impart a pressure for ejecting liquid to the pressure generating chamber 12; a lead electrode 90 connected to the pressure generating element 300; a COF substrate 410 connected to the lead electrode 90; and a supporting member 400 supporting the COF substrate 410 so as to stand from a plane on which the lead electrode 90 is provided.
