PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counter by which the convenience of a player can be enhanced. SOLUTION: The counter 10 allows the player to use a mobile terminal 200 instead of a membership card as a member specifying medium even though the player does not carry the membership card and allows the player to easily perceive the position of a mobile terminal certificating portion 340 when providing membership service by arranging, in the side portion of a touch panel 11, the mobile terminal certificating portion 340 for obtaining mobile terminal discriminating information from an IC chip incorporated in the mobile terminal 200 carried by the player.
