PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can form a highly precise printing pattern without unevenness in the film thickness in order to form the highly precise pattern of an organic EL element or the like by printing an ink, for which an organic functional material is dissolved with a solvent, on a board to be printed, and to provide a manufacturing method for a printed article using the printer. SOLUTION: This letterpress printer is a printer for printing a fine pattern on the board to be printed, and includes a rotary plate cylinder on which a letterpress is set, a surface plate on which the board to be printed is mounted, an anilox roller for feeding the ink onto the surface of the letterpress, and a closed chamber for feeding the ink to the anilox roller. In the letterpress printer, an ink reservoir which is connected with an ink feeding port for feeding a new ink is installed on the whole in the width direction of the closed chamber in parallel with the cylindrical direction of the anilox roller.
